Dripping Springs ISD — A Consistently Top-Rated District

For many families, Dripping Springs ISD is the reason they move here — and the numbers back that up.  The district ranks in the top 10% of all public schools in Texas, with math proficiency scores of 61% versus the state average of 41%, and reading proficiency of 72% versus the state average of 51%. 

The Texas Education Agency has awarded Dripping Springs ISD an "A" rating, with several campuses — including Cypress Springs Elementary, Rooster Springs Elementary, Sycamore Springs Elementary, Walnut Springs Elementary, and Sycamore Springs Middle School — earning individual "A" ratings as well. 

The district also earned a perfect score of 100 out of 100 on the state's Financial Integrity Rating System, reflecting exceptional stewardship of public resources.
